White Aran Handknit Sweater Honeycomb Pattern

There are not many people who hand knit aran sweaters in Ireland but there is one we know of! This Sweater is handknitted by Sheila Murphy whose home/maufacturing is in County Kerry in Ireland. It’s an authentic handmade aran sweater. Sheila uses quite a unique irish design in her knitting. In this sweater she is using the honeycomv as as the centre piece while also incorporating the cable and diamond stitch. There are over 60,000 stitches in this sweater and it take a skilled knitted like our Sheila to remember the knitting sequence.
It takes Shiela 6  months to make each sweater and is now still knitting at the good age of 82 making each sweater that extra special.
Limited quantities and sizes are now available to deliver straight from Mrs. Murphys’ door to yours .
